Humpback Whales and Dolphins at the Va Beach Oceanfront

When I was asked "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I knew...a marine biologist! What could be better than getting to see dolphins every day?! 

Slight problem.  I can't swim and I'm absolutely terrified of the deep end.

Since the ocean is pretty much all deep end I decided to go another route :)

So when I saw that the Virginia Aquarium offers a boat trip to see humpback whales, dolphins and other winter wildlife...I was on board!

Check out the amazing wildlife we spotted right off the Va Beach oceanfront.



SO exciting!  Side note, how awesome was my fellow passenger shouting "Woa, get the Cam-er-a!"  

Seeing and being so close to whales and dolphins turns even the toughest of adults into little kids again.

Everyone on the boat would start cheering the whale on hoping to see that tail pop out of the water.  Yep, we were THAT close!

I'm in love!!



So fun and I didn't even have to swim in the deep end :)
