Country Singer on Survivor...Plus, Chely Wright's Wedding Picture

Nashville Star alum Whitney Duncan is heading to another reality show...Survivor! She's going to be a cast member of the next season set in the South Pacific. She says she had a pretty good chance of winning too, “People may think I’m Barbie but I’m actually closer to kick-ass Barbie. I grew up in the country. I'm from freakin’ backwoods of Tennessee. This is what it’s like in the woods. I grew up in the woods. Let's just say I didn't play with dolls a lot. I’m more of a tomboy.” Survivor: South Pacific starts Sept. 14 on CBS.

Kim Kardashian wasn't the only one who got married this weekend...Chely Wright, country music's first openly gay singer, tied the knot with gay-rights activist Lauren Blitzer on Saturday in Connecticut, a state that allows same-sex marriages. Chely, 40, and Lauren, 30, met just a couple of weeks after Chely came out as a lesbian last year.

The two wore matching sleeveless white wedding gowns and no veil because Chely said they both love their hair too much. Here are the beautiful brides

Chely tweeted afterward: “We had a great time!!”

A last minute prayer circle saved Sugarland!

More details are coming out about the tragedy in Indianapolis after a stage collapsed killing 5 people and injuring more this weekend...backstage moments before it happened Sugarland's Jennifer and Kristian, along with their band members and the stage crew, were getting ready to walk out on the stage when the stage manager stage manager, Hellen Rollens, stopped them to do a quick prayer...and that may have saved their lives! Sugarland's manager Gail Gellman said, "Everybody was standing in a prayer circle getting ready to go onstage, and [as Helle] was walking down the ramp, the stage fell. So her decision to hold them for literally a minute saved every band member and crew's life." She added that while others backstage felt it was fine for the band to begin their set, it was Rollens' instincts that made the difference between life and possible death. As their rig came crashing down, Sugarland and crew ducked for cover near a wall to avoid the crushing metal. Luckily, they walked away unscathed and regrouped a little later by their tour bus. "There was no running out anywhere. No one knew what happened. It was just the moment when your eyes get big," the manager added.

Jennifer and Kristian have spoken out about the tragedy saying, "Our fans just came to see a show, and it ended in something terrible. My heart is totally broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives. It's broken for all the people who got hurt, for the people who were scared," wrote Kristian Bush on his blog. "I thank God for every person who lifted a truss, who pushed against that metal to get it off someone; for every person who used a chair as a stretcher. I thank God for every fan and emergency responder, for everyone who ran to the trouble instead of away from it. The courage of those men and women will forever be with me."

In another statement released today, Sugarland revealed that it's in the process of "planning a private memorial in Indiana to honor those fans who died," one that will take place, however, after the families have had "time to go through their own services and memorial."

Smell like Keith Urban and get Footloose with Blake Shelton!

He mentioned it a few weeks ago during his "Back Stage Appearance" but it's official can now smell like Keith Urban. Keith's signature fragrance, Phoenix, is now available on his website. It's described as "a profoundly rich, masculine scent ... infused with blackberries, cognac and plum, and can be described as having a woody oriental fragrance."

I opened up my paper Sunday to see Blake Shelton on the cover of Parade and he was spilling dirt on Miranda inside...and for once, being nice! Blake says he was a little gun-shy about popping the question to Miranda Lambert -- mostly because of his painful divorce from his first wife. In the article he says, "It was the worst experience of my life. Nothing was worth risking that again. I wanted to be really sure this time, and I wanted Miranda to be really sure." But he says hearing the song "God Gave Me You" on a Christian radio station erased any doubts "For me, that's like our song. I don't just love Miranda -- I'm in love with her." Speaking of Blake- it was just announced today that he's singing the big theme song on the soundtrack of the new "Footloose" movie! I wasn't that excited for yet another remake...but the soundtrack is worth going for! Here's what the CD will look like:

11. Suicide Eyes – A Thousand Horses
