Tim's in the news and tonight's Tweets

Tim McGraw was all over the news today for a few different reasons...One, all the hoopla over his Blindside co-star Sandra Bullock and her marital troubles. Here's what Tim had to say when asked about the situation "[Sandra Bullock's] tough. I'm not that tough. She's got a lot on her plate. I just wish her nothing but the best."

Tim also in the news for being added to the line-up to an upcoming Kenny Rogers tribute. Along with Tim, Darius Rucker, Billy Currington, Sheena Easton, Smokey Robinson and Chris Isaak are the latest performers to sign on to perform on the television special Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years. They join previously announced guests Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Alison Krauss, Wynonna Judd and The Oak Ridge Boys. The show will tape on April 10th at MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut. No word yet on when it might be on TV.

And finally the biggest news of the day for Tim is that he's been cast in the indie comedy Dirty Girl, starring Milla Jovovich, William H. Macy, Mary Steenburgen and Dwight Yoakam. According to Variety.com, the movie, set in 1987 in Oklahoma, is about "a high school tramp who's seeking the father she never knew and runs away with a closeted gay boy who wants to escape going to military school." Tim McGraw and Dwight Yoakam in a movie? I'm in!
